today i've decided to play deep tables. since it requires more skill and it's a new game for me i only did 2 tables. in fact i forgot to buy in full at one of the table in the beginning. i raise/shoved on Q-high board with AQ in 3-bet pot and lost to straight draw+flush draw(i was 45-to-55 dog..ldo). but then i've had my 1st 5-bet bluff:
$0.1/$0.25 No Limit Holdem
8 players
Stacks:
UTG | VoRPaX64ru | ($26.73)
UTG+1 | esuhyungsup | ($24.41)
MP1 | blackman1983 | ($25.05)
MP2 | Machocabrio | ($25.70)
CO | gkiller2009 | ($38.11)
BTN | streetballer84 | ($34.39)
SB | UrbanDK | ($50.10) | |
BB | Hero | ($61.80) |
Pre-flop: ($0.35, 8 players) Hero is BB

5 folds, streetballer84 raises to $0.75, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.50, streetballer84 raises to $7, Hero raises to $17, streetballer84 folds
Final Pot: $14.10
Hero wins $24.10 ( won +$7.10 )
streetballer84 lost -$7
still not sure if it was a good bet size it's a little less than a pot. hm?
then i've decided to check my ownage skills and played 4-man husngs to recover losses. lost 1st one, but shipped the 2nd. i guess i'm too lazy to play poker in the summer so i may not post/play poker for a couple of days. they released some cool vids on pokervt..and i got my free cardrunners membership so i gotta study a bit
You mean he was 4bet bluffing, or you'd consider AK a bluff?
ReplyDeletedid you have a read on him, or was it just because he was on the button...
obviously i dont want to get in with AK when stacks are deep. my 3-bet was standard, his 4-bet - probably too. if i flat called i could possibly stack him with TPTK on flop, if he shoved i'd put him on KK+ and fold(-$17)..thats tricky
